Representation in wood of the topography of the island of Moorea and the bathymetry of its lagoon.
The island of Moorea is recognizable by its very characteristic shape.
It is an ancient volcano whose caldera collapsed on its northern part, subsequently forming 2 bays: Opunohu Bay and Paopao Bay. Between the two rises the famous Mount Rotui, at an altitude of 900m and further south Mount Tohiea which dominates the island, at 1207m.
